Believe it or not, I'm still friends with Shep even though we had some cyber turbulence. We've resolved some issues. I've been associated with him on message boards since 1998 so I know there's a sense of humor there people didn't always understand. He'll bust my balls bad about CJ Spiller and I'll remind him why we didn't cut McCoy after the 2nd throw of his first OTA as well as why Carolina needs a QB..
About that Spiller thing, there's a stutter clause in that prediction. You know how I hate to get longwinded in my posts. Come on, I nailed the Percy Harvin thing the previous year against popular opinion so you gotta know Siller's promise was the rationalization for trading Lynch. Plus, I always do this as fun and I think everyone should. I pick 1 offensive and 1 defensive guy I think we need in round 1. Since I knew RAC didn't travel all the way to UT to be a nice guy conducting Eric Berry's workout - I don't recall having a queer eye for anyone but Haden on the defensive side. Last but not least, whether we liked or hated Mz's premature football conclusions at times - the guy had alot of friends especially on the general discussion board. FWIW, the best prediction of the year came from him and it swam against the currents of popular opinion. He nailed that Mike Williams prediction. Mz and I both had Northeast allegiances to SU. That said, you put 2 damn Yankees in the same litter and they're gonna lift their legs to power squirt on each other's theories. It's inevitable, so I still want him to remember the difference between the fag armed McCoy and why Carolina needs to draft Andrew Luck first next year. Don Banks says the Browns received the equivalent of 3 first round draft picks in 2010 inclusive of McCoy I might add. I think New England and New Orleans would agree with that.
