MZ owes a charity of my choice $50 for our wager earlier in the year.

It started after our 0-2 start and some gnashing of teeth about our inability to beat those "crappy" teams: http://www.barkinghard.com/forums/cl...players-2.html

So, I posted this:

Carolina may actually suck.

San Diego doesn't.

I'll also wager one of the 2-0 teams we've faced will finish with more wins than losses (and my money is on KC).

Its cool to be bummed out. Just don't confuse emotion with rational thought.

To which MZ responded with "wanna bet?" and a bet was established.

So, with Tampa winning its ninth game this past weekend and KC already a double digit win team, I've closed out the bet with a week to spare. If MZ's out there, I designate the Breast Cancer Research Foundation ( BCRF :: providing critical funding for innovative clinical and genetic research ) as the recipient.

In fairness, I'm not sold on either team just yet although KC has been very impressive lately. Still, both teams will have winning records.

Prestigious is correct. There are some really, really smart and successful guys on that email chain, and I won't even get into deep and off beat humor that is exhibited. Shoot, that there stuff flies right over a simple guy like me's head and stuff.

she's not ready for the hard truths about society

freedom and justice are really dead right now the us government is simply a conspiracy by several politicians to make as much money as possible, we've gone from a republic under god to a corporation under atheism
