That's actually the quote Danamal the makes me thing MH won't coach again. He's being honest that he of course reacts like a coach because it's in his blood. Retired players say the same things even though their days of playing are over.

So, what we have, is a disgruntled QB saying that MH is disappointed with the direction and that he thinks he will come down (and basically, put him in starting I guess).
Who says Wallace hasn't been helping out? Not McCoy who has said Wallace has helped him and they all work together in the film room. Certainly could be lip service. Wallace hasn't been MIA on game day, as he's seen some action in a few flash/wild cat packages, as well as having the headset on as the back up (he's number 2 on the depth chart these days). He was upset that Jake got the nod when McCoy went down (frankly the showing Jake gave, was Wallace really that wrong?).

Wallace might not even be here next year, not to mention I am sure he realizes Colt is the future, considering Holmgren drafted Colt and thinks highly of him. So it's pretty doubtful Wallace thinks Holmgren would be starting him.

This is exactly why I brought up Bowens. You could spin his support because he thinks if EM was gone so is he, thus he answers a direct question the way he did, which is all Wallace did (a guy with the longest history and possibly understanding of Holmgren, as Vegas pointed out).

Sheldon Brown's quote was more telling, IMO, many of the players trust the plan and the people executing it.

There were a lot of quotes in this article that seemed like the writer (not exactly a Mangini fan) took some liberties with...I wouldn't necessarily interpret them in the same way, but then, I don't have a vendetta against Mangini. Or a strong desire to see MH back on the sidelines.
It has been for Wallace. He thinks he got a raw deal and is being a bit crappy about it. Of course some of it doesn't mean he isn't right. He's certainly going about it wrong.

Agree on Brown. My point was only that a quote to a direct question can be spun how ever one wants, if they put their own views toward it rather than taking it as it was. The guy in the article is neither a fan or non-fan of EM. There weren't any liberties in that article that I saw. Other than the guy giving his take that it doesn't seem like EM will be back, which is the same take most of the ESPN guys have given, based on "word around the league". If you go back and read Walkers blog from all season he has been even with praise and criticism of the Browns and the staff

Yeah, I think we're kinda making the same point, Masters.

Regarding Walker though, I'm pretty sure I've seen quite a few articles from him that have been considerably less than complimentary toward EM. While (lol - and this is my take!!) he does seem to begrudgingly give some credit every now and then.

Here I thought this was going to be some more ego boasting quotes that would earn him more time on the bench. Damn, sucks that I was wrong about that one. I really don't think Holmgren is coming back to coach. I think the odds of that are less likely than Mangini getting fired (should I just start calling him "Mangina" again to appease the lynching masses?)

Thanks Dan for pointing out what was probably the most important quote of this whole thing. The bolded quotes are just spun to make Seneca look like an ass kisser to the coach he stood on the sidelines with for 5+ seasons. This is desperate, even for James Walker.

The thing I can't stand about Walker is his blatant bias' toward The Stoolers and to really try to shit on the other teams. I stopped following his blog feed on Twitter because I got sick of his garbage. Articles like this one really illustrate my point, IMO.
