I couldve sworn Roth was 2nd/3rd on the depth chart in Miami, hence why he was put on waivers (he was deep on the depth chart because of his issues with the coach/parcells)

Roth was a starting defensive end in 2007, then starting OLB in 2008. In 2009 failed the team's initial conditioning test due to an unknown illness. Roth was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football-Injury list during camp. He played a back up roll for 4 games. He was later waived on November 24 of that year. In the background during the off season following the 2008 season he and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus were angling for a new heft contract after playing well in 2008 at OLB.
