When you make a switch like this, you really need some current roster guys to step up... and that's a great point about Mitchell. In a perfect world, you find three starters from Mitchell, Roth, Coleman, Shaefering, Rubin, Benard, Ivey, and company and add a fourth in free agency.

It's not realistic to find four starters not already on the roster and I'm about 99 percent sure we'll take our #1 WR with the 6th pick, hopefully A.J. Green.

I'd look to resign Roth right away for one DE spot. I think he could be very good. At 6'2", 264, Gocong is Freeney sized himself. You do have to take a look at guys like Roth, Gocong, and Benard and wonder if they can return to their college positions (all were DEs).
