Greg Little, North Carolina NFL position: WR Height: 6-2 1/8 Weight: 220 40 time: 4.56 Current projection: Third-round pick Strengths: Is a well built receiver with good size and strength. Is a smooth and fluid athlete with the body control, hands and coordination to make tough catches seem routine. Shows the hands, leaping ability and body control to win jump balls -- this makes him a dangerous red-zone receiver. In games we graded, never dropped a ball. Disguises routes well, enabling him to separate despite a lack of explosiveness. After the catch, turns downfield quickly and shows surprising quickness and agility as a runner. When aggressive, can run through arm tackles and shows a great stiff-arm to gain yardage after contact. Is fearless catching passes in traffic -- never peeks at defenders, and will absorb hard hits and hold onto the ball. Adds value as a kick return man, too. Weaknesses: Lacks experience at receiver. Is not an explosive athlete.(I hugely disagree) Lacks burst off the snap, shows only adequate acceleration and lacks the speed to separate downfield. Does not consistently run aggressively after the catch.(R u serious dude) In college, more than half his catches were on quick-hit routes or behind the line, so he must polish his route-running skills on intermediate and downfield passes. Bottom line: Little, who moved from running back to receiver in '09, lost his chance to polish his skills as a senior when he was kicked off the team for accepting illegal benefits from an agent. Little has the talent to be a productive NFL starter who makes a lot of tough catches and flashes the ability to make big plays after the catch, but he will struggle to stretch the field. If he surprises with a great 40-yard-dash times, say in the mid 4.4-second range, at the NFL Scouting Combine and in pre-draft workouts, his "stock will soar"(AGREE) Read more: NFL prospect profile: UNC WR Greg Little - NFL - Sporting News I take into account the versitility factor and that he adds huge value as a "weapon" on Offense. The kid is an offensive package. Just never take him off the field.... Rb on plays ,Wr on plays, His punt returning SKILZ..... hell If it was me I make him the greatest safety the Browns ever had. :P I'd love to see him on the field with Hillis. Nah Green wont make it to us, but I still think thats a good thing, I dont think his talents would be utilized to their full extent with our QB and offense... To be quite honest, I will actually admit I'd rather have Julio (I know Ive hated on him, but Green seems weak...) We really would benefit from a Anquan Boldin/Dez Bryant type. Someone who will make the catch throw a couple defenders around, make a few jukes, and turn it up field.

| Not to be at all dicky... but of course he does. All of these guys are potential top five picks: Fairley, Dareus, Quinn, Bowers, Aldon Smith (you heard me), Peterson, Miller, Newton, Gabbert. A few people (like McShay) are getting close to tossing in the USC tackle, Tyron Something. That's nine, maybe ten. Five of them have to go before the Browns pick for Green to go there. If Newton indeed goes to Buffalo... you only have to find four other guys. Isn't hard to see Fairley, Dareus, Quinn, or Bowers in the top five, right? |

If Green is there at 6 thats who I want, I dont care who else is on the board. With that said, I can really see Heckart going with Peterson or Prince for a number of reasons. #1 it fills 2 holes with sheldon brown moving to safty #2 jurons D is much more aggressive with very good Dbs #3 Heckart seems to like having good cover corners and drafting them high. As long as the dude is a day 1 starter and doesnt turn out to be a bust i dont really care who we draft. |
