Point being, Shurmur is a case in point. 2009 Rams offense was #32. In 2010 with Bradford they progressed well where he got noticed as a good coordinator. Sometimes it may just be the players you coach rather then how good of a coach you are.
We'll see about Daboll. I didn't like him in Cleveland but it will be interesting to see what kind of offense he can put on the field in Miami. |
Yeah I was talking about Tom Brady also. Mr. 0-3 in his last three playoff appearances (that would be 3 years running). OK, he had a good season statistically, but Brady is more defined by his "come from behind and win" reputation than being a purely statistical leader (see: Not Phillip Rivers).
He's the guy who, now, as soon as he gets some pressure on him, he looks completely and totally average. Boring. Maybe worse.
The Jets proved that again. There wasn't an offensive game plan anywhere that could overcome the DB protection Brady was facing, and the pass rush he was also up against last Sunday.
