I think Haden or Berry is a terrific pick for us.

I remember ETs first game against the Bengals

First time I can remember a Brown putting the deadwood on James Brooks. I think Brooks career officially ended right then and there. I know, Billy B. brought Brooks in the next year as a FA to split 2 yard carries up the middle with Metcalf, but still, ET hitting James Brooks was almost as epic as Kevin Mack knocking Carnell Lake from cleveland stadium back to Three Sewers.

IMO, Eric Berry is a rare enough comodity at Safety that if he was there at 7, as much as I like Haden I take Berry. A Safety with mid 4.4 speed?

That is the exception to the rule. Typically, if a corner can tackle well, he can make the transition to safety when he loses a step. Ie Ronnie Lott or Rod Woodson.

Add in the fact that we had a wide receiver playing safety and it just reinforces the fact that safety is one of the biggest needs on the team, and you have a recipe for an Eric Berry pick.
