Yeah, I can't remember the last time a Steelers fan told me, "lol you have a losing record in the AFC championship statistics statistics" (many of them probably haven't been fans long enough to know who Pitt's QB before Ben was). Living with Steelers fans (ugh) I get to hear about their great success and the fact they're going to the Super Bowl. You know how the Saints were shoved down our throat all last year on TV? Well that'd be Pitt...yeah there is no silver lining in the Steelers winning. It's a death cloud.

The fact that frustrates me is that EVERY media outlet kisses the Steelers ass and parrots about "History History History" like they're the only NFL franchise with some CULTURE. That's why I'm glad the Packers are in this because, they may not be a team with more Super Bowl wins but arguably they are a team with a great deal more culture than Pittsburgh, even if Pitt fans would never admit that. I am rooting for the Packers big time in the Super Bowl, no way around it.
__________________ BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall. We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results. Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them. I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year. It's going to be tough. We aren't Barking Hard for nothing. WOOF WOOF WOOF! ![]() |

Being Browns fans we cannot stand Pittsburgh. But they do it right, they have one of the largest followings, and they have the most trophies. They are winners. Hard to see them as winners but they are. The Packers became my 2nd team right around the time I joined my current company, which is HQ'd in Milwaukee,, WI. Our sales conference is this whole week and I'm gonna get some GB gear while I'm there. GO PACKERS! |

Keet, I want some of what you are smoking dude. No way, no how, EVER does shitsburgh deserve any kind of praise. There are enough bandwagon fans to fawn on them. I will NOT be a part of that. (of course, in my heart of hearts, I want us to become what they are - but I'll never admit it...) |

Packers are far and away my second team because of my biggest draft darling ever, Aaron Rodgers, and my local boy Clay 3. LOVE the way they play on both sides of the ball. Fun fact: Packers were the first team since 1940 to never trail by more than 7 at any point in any game all season. Amazing. And they lost three of their best players for the year, Grant, Finley, and Barnett. Imagine next year. Their six losses (mostly because of injuries, including the two Rodgers missed) were by a total of 20 points. That's an average of 3.5 per game. I've never seen a clearer case of Good Guys V. Bad Guys in a Super Bowl. At least in my house. |
