Draft is SCREAMING for a trade down. Maybe one of the OTs is there for somebody. If it isn't Berry, a QB, or Bryant, you do everything you can to trade down.

You do NOT take Haden at #7.

We're so happy with the personnel on the 32nd rated pass offense that we can't find some skill players to draft?

Wow. Wake up call, the 1950s are over. Do you know where your offense is?

True... the only WR to take at 7 is Dez; both quarterbacks would be legit there.

Trade down opens up Benn, Tate, and Thomas. Oh, and Matthews.

I really like the SMU kid and Taylor Price, but I'm afraid neither gets to the third round after these combines. Maybe Price.

It's honestly not unrealistic to say that some people would fall considering how deep the draft is.

Not all of these guys can go in the top 64 picks. There are probably 100 guys that are legit 2nd round talents.

True, DaBrowns. Someone wrote something similar to that, about the draft being overstocked with 2nd and 3rd round talents.

A lot of you keep clamoring about 32nd ranked pass offense. That's a fact, we can't ignore it no matter how much we want to. BUT, another thing we can't ignore is the fact that our offense had next to no chemestry for practically the entire season. QB's shifting in an out, new personnel being used. Not to mention a rookie WR who played pretty raw for us being counted on as our #1 passing attack.

With a full off-season of workouts, and pre-season together as, hopefully a cohesive unit. I fully expect our offense to improve from last season as is. Not trying to sing it like we'll have a top ten offense out of nowhere but we will be better. Any players we can bring in to make an impact will improve that. If we draft Dez at #7 I'm sure he will help our team.

I don't see the personnel on our Defense the same way. I don't see Brandon McDonald or Abe Elam becoming brand new, wholly improved players by next season. Nothing in their play suggests that radical level of improvement especially with the latter of the two considering he's arguably in the "prime" of his career as is. I fully expect to see improved play out of Wright, Wimbley and Rubin (should he see playing time) that will improve our defense in certain areas but our Secondary will probably not.

We need a safety. I hope we bring one in the draft. Elam aint getting any younger and I'm okay if he starts next season but we need to find his replacement ASAP. I don't count on Rodney Pool either. Shep, I think you've sang his praise but really I don't count on him, he's one wrong move from being done forever. So really, we need to find a replacement for both of our safetys or our defence will not improve. Our team will not show much improvement unless we can patch some holes on both sides of the ball moving in to next season. Prioritizing one side will not achieve that.

I personally think we have way more talent on defense... but we clearly need a new starting corner and probably a new starting safety, although I think Pool and Elam are both quality starters (especially Pool). And then there's the concussion issue.

On offense, I list Thomas, Steinbach, Mack, and Harrison as guys I really like with very few reservations. Evan Moore shows a lot of promise. Cribbs is good as a Wildcat. On defense, I like Roth, Jackson Bowens, Wimbley, Rubin, Rogers, Wright, and Pool quite a bit.

I don't find anything remotely exciting about Mo, Robiskie, or Stuckey.

I'll agree with that We DO lack players on offense worth getting excited about.
