We have to draft him if he's there at 7, no way around it, man does he explode! Did you see him jump to snag that pass out of the air? Jesus he looked like braylon, only he actually caught it!!

Dude could play Corner no doubt

I don't want him to play corner. I want him to play over the top and cover more ground, personally. He's got the speed, and he's got the read and react ability. He doesn't get caught staring in the backfield either and is a big help in the run game. Some people hate comparing prospects to NFL players, but Ed Reed really is a great comparison when it comes to natural speed and skillset.

One of the most popular players throughout this process has been Tennessee safety Eric Berry. Sources told this site that Berry has not been returning to his room at the Crown Plaza until midnight each night, because his is schedule is so loaded with interviews.

Anyone see Kimbo Sli, err, Lucien Antoine out of OK State? I'd rather not be on the other side of a bar fight from this guy.

Ha. He plays with kind of mentality as well.

Antoine is intriguing in the late rounds simply because of his ability to help out in the run game. But much like Sean Jones and Abe Elam, he's a big liability in coverage. His CoD drills were pretty disappointing, although not nearly as disappointing as Kendrick Lewis from Ole Miss.

Well I recall reading that Berry was set to go to the Combine and establish that he is THE best player available for the upcoming draft. Looks like he's well on his way to establishing that he is a high prospect.

I will be surprised if he falls to us at #7 and if he's there we have to take him. We just so happen to need a Safety and he's got unreal skill, it makes so much sense.

I don't care what people say about drafting a safety that high. You look to draft impact players, regradless of position and Berry is an impact player. What I loved is when he said that he was good enough to play nickle back and teams would have to sub in a 3rd corner if they drafted him.

Got to love that. He could be in that Sean Taylor, Ed Reed class.

Plus, Berry's got the leadership qualities you want from a 1st round pick. Very similar to Aaron Curry last year.
