Any of you draft nuts got some video you want to share on some of these prospects? I saw some video of Dareus the other day and he's got some power to him though Alo you did voice your concerns of his work ethic in another thread. What about some of these other names?
__________________ BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall. We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results. Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them. I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year. It's going to be tough. We aren't Barking Hard for nothing. WOOF WOOF WOOF! ![]() |

As I stated before about Jauron and his style of defense, unless he makes a drastic change he likes his DE's to be ATTACKING/FAST and around the 255-270 range. I don't know the candidates mentioned here, but likely it will be one that fits that scheme.

What jumped out at me in the youtube I found and pasted into a thread was how many GOOD skills he brings to give me a really confident and comfortable feeling about what he offers: He was stripping the ball from ballcarriers He was running people down from behind He was close enough to every QB where he was blocking or deflecting passes (some became TDs for his defense while others got his D off the field on 3rd down) He was GREAT against the run and sports 21 tackles for a loss as a junior, which means QUICK/EXPLOSIVE off the ball Used to play RDE with a hand down; but flexible enough to move over Center vrs OSU on occasion Those that ONLY look for sacks won't be excited about his sack volume; BUT all opponents came prepared to throw the ball quickly. That being the case, they still saw alot more of him than they wanted to. I basically see a kid that plays like he's 260 in quickness but stouts up like he's 288 vrs the run. That guy caved the Left side of Ohio State plus their FB to run down Pryor very easily I might add. As you can tell, I'm suddenly an overcaffeinated nervous wreck about botching up pick #6 if we don't trade down. I think Watt will make a team using either scheme VERY satisified. The skillset I witnessed, I'm gonna trust my observations over paraphrasing crib sheet prototypicals and some of the same experts that didn't see Clay Matthews as a complete football player. I don't see a better throwback 4-3 DE than this kid. I'm sure there will be better fitness guys at the Combines; but I'm looking at the sport he plays instead of track and field. I would be REALLY pissed if we gift wrapped another oversight to the Pittsburgh Steelers like we did with LaMarr Woodley. Not saying they play the same position, but Keisel and Smith battled age induced wear and tear injuries in 2010 so it might be more of a need late in round 1 than anyone anticipates. Can you imagine what this 1 addition would do for them?
