Default Attn: Browns Fans - You make the pick!

Hey Dog Pound / Browns fans, it's your turn to vote!

I'm running an interactive mock draft with the fan forums of all NFL teams. The fans get to vote and make the pick for their respective team.

So far the fans have voted:
Carolina - Fairley
Denver - Dareus
Buffalo - Newton
Cincinnati - Green
Arizona - Bowers
Cleveland - ??

You can vote for the player you want the Browns to select here:
Football Draft Notebook.

Also, if you write a short 3-sentence description as to why this player should be drafted in this thread, I will pick out the best write-up and post it in the mock draft section along with your name!

*Finally, Bills fans hold the record with 109 votes. Can you Browns fans beat that?

***Also for mods, I hope you don't see this as spam. I am just trying to get the right fans to vote for their team, so we get the right mock draft. If you have any problems, please let me know.

Default Draft vote

Since Dareus, Fairley, Bowers, and Green are all taken by now if possible I think Holmgren should trade down. I don't know if I trust drafting Robert Quinn from UNC because he didn't play at all last season! Trading down a few spots you may still be able to snag J.J. Watt or Julio Jones while also gaining maybe a 2nd, 3rd of later rounds of picks.

Von Miller

Currently our Cleveland Browns Defense has been blown up, and this year, is time to draft key players and leaders for the future. Von Miller is a leader on and off the field, and his versatility in in our new 4-3 defense is a substancial selling point. With his athleticism, and adding 10lbs in an NFL weight room, he could play DE AND/OR 4-3 WSOLB. He is a premier pass rusher, and exactly what the Browns need to compete against Palmer, Big Ben and Flacco.

Prior to the combine and pro days; Quinn and Peterson should be the BPA left and I'd take either. Can't go wrong with a premier pass rusher or a premier corner. Both are priorities of this team.

Can't believe that Ariz would take Bowers or that Bowers would even be there for Ariz to pick. A would be a perfect place for Miller or Peterson.

Hey, it's a passing league right?
With Green off the board and assuming we can't trade down we take Peterson.
Haden, Peterson and Ward could be the foundation of the best secondary in the NFL for years to come.
He's clearly the bpa and fills a need, allowing us to move Brown to the other safety spot and groom a later round pick to take over for him in time.

It's not a popular pick with our needs at WR, RT, dline and LB, but great teams take the bpa and don't reach out of need and if we want to be one of the best teams it's something that we've got to learn how to do as well.

I voted for Peterson and I was quite shocked at how many others voted for him also. I really thought I was in the minority on this one.

I've been saying I like that tradedown scenario to add picks as well. Watt looks like the most complete DE end in the draft and Julio's improvement in 2010 really changed my opinion of him. He's left some concerned but I like where he is as a junior, which projected fine tunement as a senior.

I picked Peterson, I really love the idea of a young tag-team duo manning our corners in this "passing league" of ours, our secondary has always been frustrating. We could take an option to beef up our front 7 but I don't really know much about any of the guys left as the guys I liked were drafted already and I don't feel like reaching for a WR over some of the guys who would be able to immediately contribute on D.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.

If it falls the way most fans in the poll say...I jump from my chair , run to the podium and turn in the card for Robert Quinn.

I voted Quinn

Patrick Peterson - in 1st with 26 Votes
Robert Quinn - in 2nd with 6 Votes
Followed by others with a couple Votes, or less, each
