Stuckey drove me nuts with this all year. On 3rd and 4+ they called a Stuckey cross a lot this year. It was always good for about 10 yards, laterally. He was just not fast enough to ever turn up field, and I wondered why the coaching staff kept calling this play/ our QB's kept checking to him.

Stuckey was completely unable to make anyone miss or break a tackle to get the first down when we needed. I'll never understand the team running him on 3 yard crossing routes when we needed 5 yards - not just once, not twice, but at least ten times during the season. When you see things like that over and over again it makes a novice like me think I could call a better game than these professional coaches.

I flipped on Stuckey. I liked him for a little while, seemed like he had the "short space quickness" to be a good slot WR. But week after week, he just couldn't get to the sticks and that's his job. Took everything straight across the field and out of bounds.

Stuckey is a "penny a dozen" guy.. the dime a dozen guys are pretty much all better than him. Thus he was not tendered or resigned.. We have to get better not tread water.

Stuckey almost didn't get into the endzone on that trick play direct snap to Cribbs vs New England. Watson had a great block / borderline hold that made it happen.

That would have been the difference in that game too.

I'd rather see Moore and Cribbs get the reps in the slot before Stuckey.

If there is FA I'd like to see us look at some veteran slot WRs and say goodbye to Stuckey.
