Just a little something to break the monotony

As some of you have probably noticed, I haven't been super involved this offseason, and the reason for that is two fold.

1. It's hard to get excited about moves we may or may not make when it looks like we won't be having a season at all this year.

AND

2. I've been very preoccupied with comedy.

We are having a comedy festival next month and they are taking video submissions. So my buddy and I put together two videos, and I thought I'd share them with you here.

The Interview was his baby. He wrote and directed that, and then I wrote and directed Intellectual Liability.

Also I have a new stand up set, this one's from St. Paddy's day. Not my best, but not that bad either. Enjoy!!!

The Port City's Top Comic competition is coming up, I'm getting a tad nervous, any feedback would be greatly appreciated I'll probably post a set tonight....

Ok fellas, got a pretty cool update.

Well I got my first paying gig last Saturday. Well last Thurs, the host couldn't make it so the club owner asked me to host, apparently he really liked how I handled the show/room cause he asked me to host for Ian Salmon the headliner. So Saturday was my first show in front of a paying crowd and I did really well. Surprisingly well.

It's kinda a big deal cause now I'm technically a professional comic. I know, it's kinda cheesy cause it was only 25 bucks, but still it was a big deal for me cause it validated all the work I've been doing for the past 4 months.

Anyway, just figured I'd share. Oh and the club owner wants me to host again this thurs. I might have found a niche

OH yeah, forgot to share this as well.

Last weekend we had a charity show for a girl with lukemia. So I did a set in an (I shit you not) art gallery. It was a little weird, the people were snooty and I just antagonized them further. At one point in the video you hear a black woman in the crowd say very loudly "That ain't right!!" and to me, that's the zenith of comedy. To have some people laughing, while others are fuming.
