Not exactly true. Barry™ and the get-a-long gang up on The Hill would still be collecting a paycheck.

It seems to have been resolved with a whopping $39 bil reduction on the 2 trill deficit we're currently running.

Break out your streamers and kazoo's.

I thought it was just a 2 week extension, a temporary budget per say,

I find it harder to be all pro Obama after watching "Inside Job." It truly is a "Wall Street Government," regardless of the administration... and it's all meant to fuck everybody who isn't in the top 1% because they own the joint.

We already have the greatest wealth dissonance of all the first world countries and literally everything we do, from tax law to gleeful deregulation, is aimed at widening that. Ayn Rand must be thrilled.

Man, we could use a hero. Some day. This started with Reagan, got a lot of help from Clinton, was literally rocked charged by W, and scares the hell out of "Barry." They wouldn't even let that one chick regulate derivatives!

God bless supply side economics and the glorification of greed. It's really working out well.

Doesn't make any sense... because it would be even stupider to make Sarah Palin VP. Or George Bush president. And on back through the whole lot of them.

They all suck. Obama's a really smart guy, probably the smartest president of our lifetimes... but he's a pussy.

I didnt say there was a better choice at the time. If it makes you feel better i like to make fun of my momma for voting for him also. Its all in fun Shep. I aint seen a president i liked since Ive been old enough to understand whats going on in the world. Aint even seen a candidate i liked for that matter.

That bumper sticker did make me laugh though.

I hear you. I hate politics and politicians now more than I ever have. I can't even think about it because I'd go bonkers.

Lots of smart people in the world, but it does not make them POTUS material. Reagen, for the most part, is the last POTUS that was well respected by both the left and the right (not radicals mind you) and Clinton is looked at much more favorably through the lens of history. I never got the whole right wing animosity for Clinton, and I don't get the left damning Reagen all the time.

The nation we live in now was built on people making money. You say the gap has widened. BS. There are more millionaires now than ever before in America. What DOES suck is anything having to do with the government. IRS, Education, Welfare, the VA, DMV, TSA, ect.... When those losers spend our money, they waste it and we end up with the least performing sector of our society.

So forgive me if I puke at the notion of socialized medicine. That is not what I would consider a smart proposition for Americans.

But look who they had to vote for instead. There are not many Republicans that liked John McCain because they consider him a RINO, but then they HAD to because he was the only one left. Then they chose Palin. WTF? Mondale-Ferraro would have beat the McCain-Palin ticket.

For my money I would not mind seeing the well respected Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice on the ticket. Sadly those Repubs in the club wouldn't endorse them until they were the last chance. Whoever the right has in mind right now is not going to oust President Obama.

And I am not an Obama fan, so I am sure we'll have another 4 years of him.

And if Trump picks up steam I think I will puke in my coffee every morning in disgust.

As disgusted as I am by ALL politicians and our Wall Street Government By and For the Wealthy? I'm even more dismayed by how ridiculous we are as a culture. Sarah Palin? Donald Trump? Seriously?
