Default mock near impossible w/o Free agency

for all we know Carolina already signed Kevin Kolb , Mcnabb is already in AZ and the Browns already signed Sidney rice...Crazy hard....to mock this one....deals are ongoing but no one can announce a thing. Free agency ALWAYS alters the draft...ALWAYS.

Dude, you're five minutes from a post that will make me love you even more. The only thing better than posting drunk is letting it stand... and owning up. And yeah... I'm pretty fucking buzzed at the moment myself.

Actually, it's not beyond being conceivable that deals are in the works. It was not against the NFL lockout rules originally. They just couldn't be finalized until after the CBA is done.

It would be silly to say that AZ, Tenn and Minn are siting on their hands until after the draft to see what happens with McNabb, Kolb, Young, Hasselbach or whoever. Same with the other premier UFAs. Ground work has been laid. Maybe not to the point where deals are done but the Browns know if they are in the running for a premier FA WR or DL. It certainly will affect how teams draft.

If AZ or Minn go through the first two rounds without taking a QB then you know they have a deal in place for a FA. Same with Cincy or Tenn.

Jeff Saturday who is ahead of the NFLPA excecutive committee said on NFLN last week that you can bet that all the big time draft picks will have play books in their hands very soon after being taken. They may not come from the coach but the guys will have them and they will be working out with their teammates.

Bottom line, you are pretty close by saying not having FA still will have a affect on how teams draft.

Ive been doing mocks for 25 years... None have been harder than this year because of No FA...FA always changes the draft....especially with guys like Mcnabb, C.Palmer, VY out there and Kolb on trade table...

Asomugha? Merriman, Haynesworth{On the block}, julian petersen, mATT hasselbeck, Matt light, ray edwards, Charles Johnson, Deangelo Williams, Malcolm floyd, Sidney rice, Vjackson, Ronnie Brown, Paul Puslusny, Stephen Tulloch, Cullen Jenkins, Marc Bulger, Marcus Spears, Tamba Hali, James Jones, And Lamarr Woodley all could F up the draft

Not to mention Santonio Holmes and BE and aloex smith......we forget Peyton Manning and Mike Vick aren"t signed yet either. Adrian Foster a FA I believe too

Crazy hard

I would like to see Carson Palmer in Minnesota. I think it would be a great fit. They need to move on from Favre and Carson needs a fresh start.

I think Kolb and Carson are the "gets," guys teams think they could win a Super Bowl with. I don't think that's the impression of McNabb anymore.

Dude, the Cardinals have holes all over the field. They have serious needs at QB, OL, pass rusher, and CB. You could make the case for any of them and they're all about the passing game. They ranked right near the bottom in just about every defensive category.

They aren't a quarterback away. They're a half decade of draft picks away.

that's just ridiculous.... Manabb and good FA lineman...and draft defense...last year they grabbed Brian Shoefeld(sp?) 3-4 OLB From wisconsin who sat most all year and they drafted him pretty high 3rd round (with injury and they knew he'd sit)...Was dominating east west game...flew to senior bowl the next week and really showed well, before injury at senior bowl. asougma would fit nicely and von miller at 5? come on ...

the big hurt they have is safety... they lost rolle and the ILB (FA last year, name escapes me) and went to pieces. Safety help and von miller would get them there.

Half a decade??? what???...rather hysterical...They lost their Qb and went to pieces...plain and simple. ummm HELLO is this shep?

They literally ranked 27 and down in every defensive category. They have no pass rush and can't stop the run. They're just horrible.
