Default Key players..... Still on the board........

Okay Guys... we have two 4's, a 6 and a 7 for tomorrow... here are some key players that are still on the board, that look good to me:

Marcus Cannon-OT-TCU

The guy is a beast, at 6'5 358, he is larger than most nose tackles, and, scouting reports say that the guy can move. He is also said to be CRAZY strong. This guy is basically an elite RT prospect.

The downside.... He has cancer... Lymphoma, a treatable kind with a 90 percent cure rate, this has caused his stock to drop dramatically, and he is a steal in the 4th or 5th round. Heckert may chase this guy down sickness/injury or not (see TJ Ward and Montario Hardesty)

Kendall Hunter-RB-OKST

Think an EXACT clone of LeSean Mccoy.... who drafted LeSean Mccoy by the way? Oh yeah... Tom Heckert. We still need a third option at running back, someone with a little speed, and I think Kendall Hunter could be the answer. This guy, IMHO is an absolute steal in these rounds.

Casey Matthews-LB-Oregon

The bloodlines and team history make me want this guy, not to mention he's pretty athletic, and very aggressive/instinctual. TJ Ward played with him and Im sure he has good things to say. Can Cleveland afford to pass on another Matthews? He can sit behind Fujita for a year, this kid is BORN to play WSOLB in a 4-3. Why not take a chance?

Chimdi Chekwa-CB-OSU

Great measurables, and a crazy good athlete. He showed major improvement this past year in coverage and looks to be getting better. He isnt a small corner at 6'0 195 lbs and he still runs a 4.4 forty. He had 3 picks this year and is very coachable and willing to improve. We need a slot/4th corner and this guy could potentially be a number 2.

Jeremiha Hunter-OLB-Iowa

This guy has a nose for the football, and has great instincts sniffing out the run. We need 4-3 OLB's in a bad way.

Will Hill-FS-UF

We need a future FS once Elam is gone and Sheldon is retired, this guy plays fast, can pick the ball off, and still make pretty good tackles.

Anybody else got some potential picks?

AGREE love this kid...

DJ Williams TE arkansas...

Greg Jones Mich St... nice pickup behind those two hogs up front...

find a FS..or better yet draft the best ball hawking hardest hitting corners who are tad slow and make them safeties

Sanzenbacher WR - OSU

This is not really a homer wish from me, I'm an Irish fan, but hear me out. I've read a few times that JJ was a huge part of the 2007 receiving core's success, which just seems to ring true.

Sanzenbacher has 4.5 speed, known to have excellent hands, a precise route runner, and a hard worker. Voted team captain, and was first team all Big Ten, and won the Bo Rein award as most inspirational from team.

Did I mention excellent hands and precise route runner? We also saw in the Bowl game he'll go after the ball and has great field awareness.

Projected as a 5th round pick.

+1 on Casey Matthews, btw.

This guys more of a dark horse from a small school but I'd love to take a chance on him around the 5th round. Big time playmaker, just hasn't played against top competition. Football's football though and this kid can play

Love that Brandon Burton is still there. I also would like to see us make a move on Colin McCarthy or Casey Mathews. Ziemba the OT is there and a few nice RBs. McElroy, Devlin or Stanzi would be good QB projects.

We need another DE.

Playground, you need to google Will Hill. Not sure how you even got to him in the first place.

We have to get a corner.. absolute top priority for the day. (IMO)

Other need areas really have not changed: LB ,DL, Safety. RT, RB . WR (not necessarily in that order). We have 6 picks. so we can possibly hit nearly all these areas. 6 remaining picks is nice, we can get some develpmental guys and hopefully hit on a couple.. (unlike in past years we have just frittered away these picks on guys who never contribute or even make the roster)
