Its a shame that McElroy was taken one pick before our last... I thought there'd be a chance we'd nab him there.

Think we'll pick up a guy as an UDFA? I bet Holmgren wants to bring in someone. There's not much left that impresses. Pat Devlin is still there... and has the quintessential tools to fit in a WCO: good accuracy, decision making skills, and excels at short passes. Scott Tolzien is another guy that could fit a WCO.

I would expect we take a look at some of the leftovers and bring in a guy.

Tyrod Taylor looked pretty good throwing at the combine, without pads and dlinemen he seemed extremely accurate.. too bad the Ravens took him

Jerrod Johnson is a pretty sweet project and he's still available

we just picked up our QB project in January, that other VT QB, whats his name again?

I remember like 5 months ago I thought we could steal Dalton in the 5th... lol

I'd say Pat Devlin and Adam Froman are the most likely candidates, but the team probably won't be able to sign them anytime soon.

Brown doesn't seem real WCO to me.

We have Wallace and Delhomme and Brown as backup QB, we might well see how well Colt play and cover used in WCO, then sign in a QB in next year draft to replace Delhomme as his 2 years contract will be up. We will have a much better idea how good is Colt McCoy at the end of next season. Also there should be a QB released which could be useful.

Oh shit, I forgot about that guy.... Maybe that is one of the reasons we didnt spend a pick on a QB this year.

Holmgren said at the press conference that we may not be done adding QBs.

I think the fact that we had so many needs on both sides of the ball really tied up the picks that we may have used on a QB. We have Colt, and Holmgren's been pretty clear on his confidence in Colt but there are FA options, young guys and UDFA's who Holmgren may have an eye on. I would expect we will add another QB body to the roster before the season starts (hypothetically speaking)

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.

Exactly what Holmgren said. The needs of the team and number of picks out weighed taking a QB.

Then he said, "we may not be done adding QBs".

I know I am incredibly derailing my own thread here but I think your new avatar IS AWESOME, Legacy.

Its awesome, because it's bigger than a normal avatar.

Just don't go changing your name to Turd Ferguson.
