What's up everyone? Noticed it was getting pretty slow here due to the limbo we are in. Thought I would make things interesting by finding out some more background info on our members. What I want to know is who played football growing up and at what level. Just thought it might be interesting to find out who has been a monday morning quarterback their whole lives and who transitioned to that after removing the pads.

Ill start: began playing pee wee in 6th grade and then through high school at Strongsville, then tried to walk on at Miami University. Didn't make it, to damn slow. Would have given my left nut for some speed.

I know Inspecta was a gaurd or center or something and Shep was a cornerback. But was to slow, so they put him at safety.

6'2" throw lefty and didnt have a good wr in high school.

Loved football but was way better at baseball. Threw 91 92 mph in high school as a lefty, with a knuckle curve and a circle change. But a hell of a QB as well.

THAT was funny.

Quarterback from 7 years old through sophomore year... then I abruptly quit because I didn't want to split time with a running QB. Plus I was in a rock band that was doing well and I had a girlfriend, etc. Life was too good to sweat and I hated our coaches.

I have my regrets, I admit. I never took it all that seriously. And I actually did start at safety Freshman and Sophomore years!

I haven't thought about this in a while:

6-7 C and DL
8-9 RB (they called me Czonka)
10 QB and RB
11-12 LB and RT
13-16 CB and S
17-18 S

I weighed more at 11 and 12 (135) then I did at 15 (126) because of wrestling, which although I was good in 9th grade (15-1, 9 pins) I liked lifting weights and playing football better than hanging with the wrestling team. Topped out as a Senior at 195.

Walked on to John Carroll Univ and promptly blew out a knee. Tony DeCarlo was coach and I told him I would be back and he said "sure you will." He was right - I didn't go back.

I played a lot of positions in football. Come to think of it I played every position in baseball except 2nd and SS.

I pitched really well until I was 13, lost my curve ball (probably because I wasn't supposed to be throwing one), which also hurt my passing a little. Played basketball, got kicked off the freshman team for smoking pot, made JV as a sophomore, quit that along with football prior to junior year.

Think I sort of burned out, playing three sports for all that time... and I really loved my band.

I never played in any kind of highly organized league, so most of my "knowledge" regarding schemes comes more from reading analysts and untold hours with my butt glued to the couch watching the tube than from experience. Didn't play football in HS because soccer was a fall sport also and my school was good at soccer and crappy at football. When younger, I played mostly WR, which of course entailed a lot of running around with little impact on the game, and S, which was much more fun. In our college club league, I played WR and QB.

For baseball in HS, I did in fact play every position more than once. My favorite was probably CF, although I started most of my games at 3B. Nothing better than throwing someone out at third or the plate from the OF.

Never played NFL or American football, but I do on Madden / NFL 2K American football games. on consoles and love those films.

In sports I am a goalkeeper in football and played mainly as backup goalkeeper for first team in high school/sunday/league
I have found dancing suit me more
