Default Another DIVA WR in Trouble?

Folks,
I don't know if you stay in tune with the TN Titans but 1st round WR Kenny Britt just got arrested at a carwash for smoking marijuana in the close range proximity of 2 NJ police officers. The disturbing thing here is the rest of his teammates were in TN practicing together at Father Ryan High School while Britt was off in NJ adding 1 more arrest to his resume. This wasn't long after another arrest he recently had to appear in court for.

Just out of curiosity, what did Britt get on his Wonderlic? Evidently, he had a Mexican Cigarette that was bigger than the one in Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke Movie. I'm pretty sure the Titans were hoping for somebody a little different than Tommy Chong to provide the giddyup to their passing game with in round 1. The only record he might break in TN would be Pac Man's arrest volume as a Titan.

Yeah, he's turning out to be a dipshit. To the best of my knowledge, Dez Bryant hasn't failed any drug tests, hit any women, or even yelled at his quarterback. All I heard last year is that he's a great teammate and a nice kid... who happens to be flaky and immature.

I still hate that a kid who came from Dez's background get piled on. That'll need to stop. There are plenty of actual dicks to talk about.

Kenny Britt has not caught enough passes to be considered a diva... But you know.. Ray Lewis may have something about lack of football causing a crime increase..he just didn't realize the target audience was the players, and not the fans

As for Dez.. He's just stupid with his money .. hmm what 20somtheing kid isn't ..his just looks worse because it's bigger.

Britt is a first round draft pick making first round cake and signing bonus that has already been arrested 6 times since he was drafted 2 years ago. That's where I get DIVA from. A DIVA is someone that feels entiltled based on where they get picked or how many franchises are willing to overpay for best work in the rear view mirror. Britt lost interest in football if the trend of arrests show actions speaking louder than words. The latest arrest took place when his teammates CARING about next year were practicing together.

Dez already has the IRS knocking on his door so iIwouldn't go putting him in the NFL Hall of Fame just yet. We might want to see his first COMPLETE season college or pro before we size him up for that Hall of Fame sport coat.

If you watch the league like you claim, (Sims-Walker), you would know that Britt is a stud prima donna, Total example of diva bitch, exactly what we don't want with Little.

My money is on Dezzie failing.....he is the definition of future failure. Not every kid receiver is a Mike Tyson/MC Hammer with they monies. Dezzie is.

I'll take that bet. Bryant has over 1,000 yards receiving and scores at least 2 TDs on punt returns.

I wish I saw the same happily ever after jumping out at you with that guy. Speaking of Divas and Bryants, Antonio Bryant had over 1000 yards receiving here and I didn't read 1 fan HAPPY with his 1000 yards. Shep, just because the guy has TALENT - doesn't mean there's no such thing as distractions and/or bad genes. William Green? We wouldn't have made the playoffs without him running us into them in 2002. Talent wasn't what blindsided his career my friend and I think you know that chemical dependency snuk up on him shortly after turnign in 100 yard games in 2 early wins in his 2nd season vrs Oakland and Pittsbrurgh.

When you already have the IRS on your door for horrible decision making; and you've also been arrested for fighting with mall cop because you wouldn't follow the rules everyone else had to - that projects trouble ahead. Asking someone to pull their pants up to at least plummer pant-level isn't really asking too much if there's already people complaining about it. If Dez really wanted to show off those Calendar Boy glutes he can always go buy some bikini fanny floss and put a couple peanut shells on the front and head off to the beach. Maybe he just needs a tutor to explain the difference of mall and beach dress codes. Unfortunately his mother also got in trouble for crack in the world of drugs and prostitution so this kid never LEARNED how to make good decisions.

If all that's too inconvenient, what type of 4 year exchange value did Oklahoma State get in return from Bryant on the free ride? Oh yaaa, his coaches were warning people that getting him to team meetings and dressed for openning kickoff on time became a bigger pain in the ass than it ever needed to be. Not only that, how many COMPLETE seasons did he turn in there? His first NFL season ended on IR so there's ALWAYS distractions preventing full seasons regardless of excuses.

I'm soooo thankful we didn't DEZignate him to be our solution to the missing #1 WR on this team. We didn't actually have the following guys studs for him on hand to enjoy favorable matchups: Miles Austin, Roy Williams, and Jason Witten. In fact, he would have NEEDED to prove he makes well informed decisions to handle the complicated LeBeau zone blitz schemes better than guys WILLING to prepare for them that STILL got confused at times. If his former coaches said this guy hates preparational meetings for upcoming opponents - WHY would you want to welcome that type of Diva here? I hate to tell you - he's not wired to waste his time in the film room unless he needs a nap.

I don't really care he flashed promises or reminds us he has talent. Ted Kozsancy was once seen as one of the most talented minds ever tested. THAT is talent! Do you know what he did with that talent? He became better known as the Unibomber, which makes him one of the biggest criminals of our lifetime. Not saying Dez is that extreme; BUT there's more to this than talent. That's why NOBODY wants a TO here even inspite of how much we could use a veteran presence with WCO experience here. There isn't 1 QB in TO's afermath that missed him more than their last bout of food poisoning. He's uncoachable and a QB's biggest enemy when the SELFISH ego ruins what could be there. The worst thing about cancer is it spreads until it kills its host.

I have not watched much of Tenessee at all the past year or two. Now that Fisher is out..probably even less. Unless I am lucky enough to get Chris Johnson on my fantasy roster.. I have no one there I'm real interested in. I was not saying that Britt isn't a DIVA.. I was just saying his production on the field does not support his acting like a diva..since he has done so little.. It his lousy production does not affect the way he sees himself since he certainly is going down the road that gets you out of the league quickly.

Dez may well be a tool too.. but at least produced when he was healthy and on the field.

The guys had nearly identical stats last year.

Actually, Britt was more productive.

Britt is a tool and Dez could be well on his way of proving he is also. Some of his teammates during the offseason have noted that Dez needs to grow up and learn the meaning of what a team player is. Garrett called him out in the press and said that Dez has been given a warning about being late to practices and missing meetings. He actually said taht Dez's numbers should have been better but he earned some bench time because he wasn't as up on the game plan as he should have been.

Maybe you could say he's a tool in the making.

Here's a retired Military General with a message to disrespectful punks that want to fight Mall Cops over RULES and appropriate dress codes the rest of society is asked to follow in public. He CLEARLY gets it:

I'm sorry but if you're going to light up in a public setting than frankly you're a tard. Honestly, do that shit in your own home, don't do it out and about where you know the police will inquire if you're noticed. ESPECIALLY don't do it if you're a NFL football player. The Titans have had some shotty luck w/ their high profile picks. Vince Young, now Britt? If I was Jeff Fischer, I think I would be happy I got the hell out of Tennessee before it eroded my soul. He will find another job and he will make that team a Playoff contender.

I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
