I read Hillis isl pullig around an f-150 truck in his Arkansas town with some type of harness. When he wants a LIGHT workout it's a car or an ATV that he pulls around. I don't think Arkansas is flat so that's a killer workout. Think he wants to lose ground to Hardesty? I think NOT! I have no doubt he wants to improve on last year. Last year he was not the #1 guy heading into the season. This year he will be the main guy from day 1. The guy is a beast!!

50-Catches and 800+ yards for MoMass next year? Alo, whatever you're toking pass that shit on down because I want to get in on this! I am in the boat with Greythan, I've seen too many of his mental lapses contribute to huge play breakers last year to really have that kind of confidence. I agree though that those kinds of numbers are what I want to see from a 3rd year NFL Wideout, the year he's supposed to have his breakthrough.

I want to see more from Robo, myself. I think that he has always had more hype, and he has never managed to live up to that hype. He's the better natural reciever, IMO, he just needs to run tighter routes and with the new offense I hope he will be more than just a 30-reception guy. If he doubled his numbers he would have 60/600 and 6 TD's ... those are numbers I could get behind for Robo who has been slow coming out of the gates.

Even if MoMass doubled his production, he would hit those kinds of numbers that Alo wants to see, and I would be happy with that. Either of those two can get it going next season and our offense will look a lot better than in 2010.

Plus, Peyton Hillis! The guy's going to be on the cover of Madden! I am sorry but now that the paranoia has receded, I'm nothing but excited for that. Hearing about him pulling a pickup truck. that is sick. Peyton showed everyone the kind of work ethic he brings to the table and I know he will want to continue his level of play next season and show the league he's not a flash in the pan or anything like that.

BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall.
We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.

Ha! Well, I've never been extremely high on MoMass -- he wasn't one of my draft faves -- but I think there's a decent chance he could get to 50/800. Brandon Gibson posted 53/620 last year in St. Louis, and MoMass is bigger, more explosive, and has slightly more reliable hands: if Massaquoi doesn't at least match those numbers, either he or Freckles won't be part of the team's plans in 2012.

No doubt he's been spacey out there, but others WRs around the league have been productive despite similar issues. And hopefully forming a bromance with one QB will minimize the issue.

This offseason has people acting like they've been in the desert for days without water.

MoMass will be lucky to be on our roster opening day. What has he accomplished?

Oy. The more we talk about our WRs, the scarier it gets. Mo is spacey and Robiskie is slow off the line and in and out of cuts, making it easy to cover him. Little didn't play football last year and has 90 parking tickets from his eight cars.

It's impossible to find a team more in need of a veteran WR.

If Massaquoi isn't the breakthrough guy, then who is? It's easy to be pessimistic about everything (MoMass won't make the team? Seriously?)...much more difficult to figure out the positives that yield optimism.

It's like when 90% of fans hated the TJ Ward pick: all they knew was that he battled injuries and didn't have a great senior season. People who'd seen how well he played in '08 were more excited and had a greater appreciation of what he did last fall.

Ward got a ton of play here in Pac country. I admit that I thought he was more seriously injured and kind of off most boards.

I'm neither optimistic nor pessimistic by rote about anything, including the Browns. I try to react to each event from a neutral place... if possible.

I agree with ALO. 50/800 can be reached by Momass. His rookie YPC was one of the tops in the league. He is the most explosive guy on the roster ..(Until we see what little has or does not have). I can ultimately see Little and Momass as the #1 and 2 guys and see how the others play out. This also depends on if we bring in a free agent and how quickly guys can pick up the new system and get in sync with Colt. I hate all the unknowns with the new staff..but I'm still excited for the future.. even if this year is just a really long training camp.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I'll just openly and wantonly eat crow if a team with zero knowns at WR and gobs of cash doesn't sign a WR. Makes absolutely zero sense.
