What you're going through now is called the "Honeymoon phase" which typically lasts 3 months to the first year. Thanks guys. I've also been doing extra work in some local films (Screen Gems has a studio here), and I'm looking to get on the set of "East Bound and Down" starting in two weeks. Danny McBride and Will Ferrell on set must be a riot!

Vegas, congratulations. Tomorrow I have my 7th anniversary.. I was the most anti-marriage guy you could meet, I was never looking for a wife. Funny how things change.

I am married to a great woman. I absolutely adore being married. Best 7 years of my whole life.
My parents and I share the same anniversary date, and we have the great blessing of getting to share that in person wih them tomorrow. I thank my mom and dad for showing me what a God centered marriage looks like. It is the nonsecret, secret, to keeping a marriage together IMO.

Tell your wife and yourself; No matter what happens, fights, disagreements, hurt feelings.. that is all fine, It IS going to happen.... You just never EVER EVER walk out that door.. dont ever leave.. that is when you make it very difficult to heal things..

I wish you all the best, and hope you can experience the joy and happiness that I have.

So back from Y`town.. Trip started with not ONE cancelled flight but TWO.. but we still got home, spent my 7th anniversary with my mom and dad on their 58th. What a blessing that was. Got to see all my brothers and sister as one brother came up from Jax, and sister came from Cinci.. We had an amazing trip with my sister and her husband up to Niagara falls.. both sides.. Cave of the winds, Maid of the Mist.. it was increadible.. back to mom and dads for a couple days..home today, off tomorrow for another day to chill out at home..then back to WWWWWWork.. ouch..hurts to even type it... A great vacation.. and really needed.. Now back to see what is going on here after a week with no internet.

On my mind, let's see.

Well, I just watched a 2010 replay of Butch Davis and UNC beat the Vols in OT. Great stuff. College football at it's best.

I thought to myself, I like that guy's style. Give me some passion and sideline emotion like you give a shit. Davis has it.

I know the Jim Tressels and Tom Landrys of the world win games too, but sometimes that deadpan style is like watching a Braves baseball game, or an accountant prepare taxes, or paint dry.

Which makes me think I never liked Terrell Pryor. Seemed like a punk on day 1.

And Jimmy Claussen will always be somewhere between "that guy" and a bit of a tool.

And I wish the lock-out would end.

This weekend I saw HP with the fam, but slipped into GameStop just before the flick only to see Hillis on the cover. It made my Saturday. Almost made me well-up, just like at the end of Major League.
