Y-town where you at?

I have been peeking in, and reading threads.

And let me say upfront. My lack of posting has nothing to do with topics being beat to death or any other posters posting style.

From what I have read, the discussions have been spirited but fair. Just because the guys who are the most active posters choose to debate a few topics more than others is just the way it goes during the summer. And other topics have been touched on.

For me it's more that I've always been more of a guy who wants to analyze what actually happened and how I would change it. Not one who can spend a ton of time throwing out hypotheticals about what MIGHT happen or make us better.

I'm also VERY pessimisitic about this season. But don't take that the wrong way. I don't dislike our coaching staff or think they are bad. I believe they deserve our unyielding support for the next 3 years minimum. I fully support Colt McCoy and believe he'll be a star.

But once again MY FAVORITE team is getting screwed by circumstances created by others. A short FA period and the lack of any off season till now is the worst thing that could happen to a brand new coaching staff installing new systems on both sides of the ball. this team will start VERY SLOWLY. We will be trying to find positives in the "little things" again. and some here will be telling us that once again the QB sky is falling.

Once the actual pre-season and season starts, you'll see me become more active again.

Let me know if you will be coming in the future. It would be great to hook up. Actually I don't spend too much time in YTown anymore but I do come back off and on to see family and friends. I'll be here part (most) of the summer this year to finish my rehab from back surgery but will be heading out to California to spend time this fall. then Fla for the winter.

I'll do the holidays in Youngstown because of the kids and grand kids but no more winters. I'm a snowbird.
