I have been victim to the same posts, but I saw far more DE, FS, and RT posts to be honest. I have lurked, but I saw more discussions about LB, DE and RT than I did WR. Word for word hard to tell, since Flugel and BW have some great back and forth -- on (...zzzz..) WR's. ![]() But all in all I have seen great info on RT, DE and FS. The one we need on O is not crippled by who we sign. He is the guy or he isn't. Needs some help of course, but he doesn't need everything on offense. He needs a great D to make up for his mistakes. He needs sacks and turnovers and 3rd % on D. WR? Nah, give him a RT, and an offense with developing WR's - offense that develops WR's - and already potential RB's and TE's. He can and will assist McCoy in developing WR's. First and foremost. THAN, moving backwords to philosophically opposed Brian Daboll - the very talented TE's and RB's balance it out until going right back the the WR's. WCO. Run Well, Pass Well, acttack on offense.....and do it all well on of defense. WCO's do historically concentrate money for talent wise on defense. Alo and jj will tell you, the WCO does develop WR's who have more often that not left the WCO, and failed. On defense they need and draft studs. On offense they have ALWAYS developed studs, with a few 1st rounders here and there, depending on the choices at the pick. I am a HUGE fan of the WCO system. Therefore I am REALLY into listening to Holmgren's news conference. Same goes for Heckert. All one system, everyone studying and developing for the SAME SYSTEMS (4-3, WCO), and choices in players is narrowed down to three top guys seeinng the same systems and viewing the same weakness. "What do we need?" Is a question Holmgren can ask and agree most of the answers "all 3 agree on." Same system. This is why I don't to hear ANYONE feeding me 6-7 wins. No way! Smart system, smart people, 10 wins. They can say otherwise but I believe they want playoffs. ::I need a nap. too many hours at work.....zzzzzzzz:: |

Veg, you saved me from having to say it myself. We've covered damn near everything we could here. Some caught fire more than others, but... not sure what stone we left unturned. I'm such a huge fan of the WCO and Bill Walsh in particular... and he's one who's always said you could find receivers later in the draft who work in the system. Can it work with Little and Massoquoi as the primary guys? Maybe. I do like the recent run of editorials saying the Browns need to put Little on the fast track, throw him in and let him swim. I agree. Robiskie doesn't fit the slot (not quick), so we could use our version of Amendola. Shurmur played a lot of two TE but he also loved Amendola. Maybe it's Lance Moore or maybe it's Sanzenbacher. Amendola wasn't drafted either. Having RBs and TEs who can catch will definitely help. |

Y-town.. I will be in Ytown later in the month.. I wish the schedule was not so tight or I would come down your way to meet ya. Maybe next time..it's just too tight of a schedule this year.

At least we have not unravelling into the insanity of past years with people getting kicked off.. Or is that upcoming once there is free agency and we get or don't get the guys we like.
