Lance Moore on twitter:

I'm waiting patiently for the right deal tweeps. Idk where its going to be yet, but I will let everyone know as soon as I do. Thanks for all of your support

Doesn't sound like a guy who's convinced he's staying put.

Berrian is more of the second tier type of WR I'd think the Browns could be interested in. He's a solid veteran and a guy who could line up outside and let Little get his feet on the ground and learn what being a NFL WR is all about.

I don't know if he's healthy or what type of locker room guy he is but he's the type of guy, like a Mark Clayton, that won't break the bank but could be a big asset until we get guys up and running in this WCO.

But, and there's always a but, how many veteran WRs are willing to come to Cleveland with a rookie QB and a team learning a new system. My answer is the second tier guys because the big dogs will try to go after all the top notch WRs.

When you start listing all the WRs out there who are at least "credible," let's say, and who would very much want to start? It's a long list. I think the players and agents are looking around and feeling like that starting slot and a nice payday are the priorities.

Guys like Holmes and Rice are young and have been stars recently, so they might be able to walk with some swag. But after that, you have SUCH a long list of pretty damn good NFL starter types like Breaston, James Jones, Santana Moss, Mike Sims-Walker, Lance Moore, Clayton, Berrian, Roy Williams, Braylon Edwards, Malcom Floyd... and I'm missing some others.

Tough for one guy to sit and judge offers because they could be off the table real fast. That's why a guy like Ray Edwards is saying, "Browns? Love me some damn Browns! Yeah!"

The market is getting so crowded that some agent might just call the Browns and say "hey, my guy would be interested in playing for the Browns".

BTW, you knew the Panthers were going to throw everything they could at Johnson to keep him. He's a cornerstone to that defense and they are hard to find.

A good point for both Clayton and Berrian: They both have already been exposed to the WCO and its terminology. I'd certainly consider that.

Shefter says Mikell to Rams. Santana Moss somewhere.

Gives some more heat to the Edwards/Whitner buzz. Oh, and it's Moss staying put in Washington.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.

Whitner is a Strong Safety. Not sure why we would be so high on him.

Where the hell is Eric Weddle? Ain't heard shit about him.

Vikings | Agree with 'Skins on terms of Donovan McNabb trade
Tue, 26 Jul 2011 15:24:23 -0700

The Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings have agreed on the parameters of a trade that would send QB Donovan McNabb to the Vikings. Working out the financial portion of restructuring McNabb's contract could be tricky, though.
FANTASY TIP: Where there is a will there is a way. Expect this deal to get done by the end of the week, and it makes sense for both parties. The Redskins are ready to wash their hands of the McNabb experiment, while the Vikes need a veteran passer to help teach Christian Ponder the ropes. The Vikings' receiving corps offers promise of fantasy success for McNabb if Sidney Rice returns. For now, consider McNabb a somewhat risky No. 2 with very mild potential for greater.

Chicago reporter says Browns are in the mix for Weddle. His agent confirmed it, both by Twitter. Vikings and Colts were also players. Browns have the most money.
