Watch highlights from 2008 and you could see Hillis was going to be a beast. McDaniels was dumb and didn't like him and gave him NO playing time then traded him.

But yeah we need to evaluate the roster in the new system, draft again and then compete.

Yep, Kafka's gonna stay in Philly. With Vick's injury risk and Young's meltdown potential, it's not at all crazy to think he could get on the field sometime this year. I hope he does well.

As for Johnson, he's a good guy (and a PGL favorite), but I'm not even sure he'll make it onto the p-squad. Folks at the E-W Shrine Game were calling him "Double Clutch" because he'd take so long before delivering a late, inaccurate throw. I believe he was the #1 overall pick in the UFL Draft: if that league doesn't fold, he'd probably be better off working on his game there.
