Love it! I don't know if he's fast enough for the NFL but I'm glad he's getting a shot with us. Interestingly, I always saw him more as a ILB but I supposed he'll get a shot at MLB? Glad to have this ridiculous distraction back! Oh, and nice to be back here, too! Hope all are well!  |

Dama, nice to see you've stopped lurking! Don't know much about the kid but if he'll compete and give us depth than I trust Heckert know what he's doing with this signing.
__________________ BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall. We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results. Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them. I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year. It's going to be tough. We aren't Barking Hard for nothing. WOOF WOOF WOOF!  |

Juki has had a summer of tracking U2. He needs this.  Smith is a great kid, hard worker, emotional, etc. He's the same long shot as any undrafted rookie, but fun none the less. I could see him on special teams and as a back up LB to replace someone like Costanzo.

Finally, something real to talk about. With the Browns $33m under the cap, we should be very active the next few days

A lot of the UDFAs are posted in the other thread. But, smith may be a guy who could come in and earn a spot on the practice squad.
