Why are none of them coming here?

If the Browns lose out on all free agents to better teams... won't the better teams be even better-er than us? There's no hope at all? How will we make the salary floor? Pay backups like starters?

Seriously, if it's true that everybody has to spend the same but the good players will all go somewhere else... is there a point to this endeavor?

Just read it... another very good article, Mikey. Very nice.

Love this:

"How realistic is Rice? The Browns have one of the biggest cap gaps in the NFL, have not expressed interest in many high value targets and could be looking to splurge at a crucial position of need."

Honestly... somebody's gettin' paid by the Browns who isn't currently on the roster. Like 3-4 major somebodies. The money doesn't add up otherwise.

Yep.. Mikell is off the board. I'm thinking Weddle and a WR for some good money. Maybe that CB from New Orleans, I read we were talking to him.

DE is still possible but we're not hearing who they're talking to other than Edwards. Don't wanna overpay for him....

I would definately re-order those 5

2 Mike Sims-Walker
4. Roy Williams
3 Steve Breaston
5 Malcom Floyd
1 Sidney Rice

I see no reason we can't get one of these guys.. I don't think we will get Rice..but any of the others are definately possible and Heckert could surprise in Rice.. I really don't like Rice so much anyway.. as hip injuries scare me..

I read a pretty good article from a Jacksonville sports writer about why they were glad he was gone. It didn't completely trash my opinion of him, but the guy made a good case. I did have it ordered Floyd 4, MSW 2, Roy W 5, Breaston 3 originally.

I say none of the above......................................WR isn't the priority here. It's an afterthought and a maybe but not the priority.

Sidney Rice. That's it. None of the other bums. That's the dumbest shit.

We don't need middle tier shitters. If we can't get a true number 1, then fuck it this year.
