As we embark on the 2011 Training Camp for this upcoming season we have been discussing mainly Offense and Defense and what we expect, or hope for our brownies. But I think alot of us are ignoring Special Teams. Field postion despite what we do on Off and Def will impact how those units will play and scheme and how we attack our opposition.
How will new browns ST's coach Chris Tabor utilize cribbs amidst the new rule changes. What strategies will he employ. He's been successful with the Chicago Bears the last 3 seasons finishing in the top 5 best ST's units in the NFL. How will his coaching impact guys like Reggie Hodges and place Kicker Phil Dawson. I think we really need to be asking ourselves some questions here as it obviously impacts Off and Def. Tabor was blessed to have Devin Hester,Robbie Gould and Punter Richmond McGhee. A pretty formidable 3 point package in Chicagos ST's unit. Here are a couple links...Some info on Tabor via the Browns and ST's Rankings.
