Hang on here. Who has Cribbs impressed ever at WR? No one is saying throw away Cribbs, only let Cribbs do what he has proven he can do or has shown he can do (the question I ask is what has Cribbs ever showed for anyone to believe he can ever make any impact at WR?). Saying Clayton has impressed far less people is hyperbole of Shep proportion.

Considering Clayton go hurt, and was set to become a FA after last year, it should really come as zero shock STL drafted 3 WRs and signed several in FA (not to mention they lost another of their starting WR to FA). It says nothing to whether they were happy or un-happy with what Clayton did last year.

Word is Clayton's knee still isn't right. I doubt the Rams would have signed Mike Sims-Walker if they thought he was good to go.

You're right. Let's walk the problem over to Bill Belichick or Sean Payton and give him a draft pick or 2 for taking the nightmare off our hands. He wasn't REALLY voted the 84th best player in the league by the people that watch the most film. He also wasn't REALLY guaranteed 7.5 million $ plus 1 million $ per year by Mike Holmgren. And Hillis didn't REALLY struggle by seeing more 8-9 men in the box when Cribbs didn't play. The numbers lie just like you did when you said you NEVER called out Daboll for his passing game design. Don't worry I will archive a small fraction of them so we can see who's concealing truths.

Masters, for pretending like you know so much about football - you really have no clue about what missing 4 years of college at the WR position represents in terms of what type of training is necessary to get him up to speed on a team in transition.

Yeah, somebody at NFLN said the Sims-Walker signing might mean Clayton's knee isn't right. Bradford has repeatedly campaigned to get him signed, so I think that's probably the case.

Jesus's f'n christ Tom. Let's stretch me saying leave Cribbs to do what he does best into "I want him traded". That money you mention ain't anything in the NFL. 7.5M signing bonus is nothing. Hell for what Cribbs does best when left to it, he's well worth it. Hillis saw 8-9 men in the box regardless of Cribbs. Cribbs at WR never got anyone out fo th box.

I never said I didn't call Dabol out on his passing design. I said none of that had to do with Cribbs inability to play the WR from an execution stand point. But as usual you are so blinded by your point of view you don't read and decide to insert what ever you want.

I guess 6 years of training at the NFL level still don't make up for missing 4 years of it at college.
