Default The Bucs sign Sean Jones

Safety Sean Jones to the Bucs is a done deal

Relevant news because 1) he's a former Brown, and 2) it likely takes them out of the running for Eric Berry.

Now, the only teams Berry needs to get past are the Chiefs and Seahawks. If Kansas City goes with an OT and Seattle gets gay for Claustrich, we'll get our guy.

Do you think Holmgren and Heckert will draft a safety with the 7th pick? Serious question...

With not bringing in any DB during FA I would say yes.

Or we can trade up to seattle's spot can't we?

Ok.

If we ended up going this route (I just find it hard to believe) imagine the talent at safety in the AFC north. My goodness. Reed, Polamalu and Berry is pretty serious.

I just dont think it will happen. IMO I think we go Bradford if he is there or can make a play for him (very unlikely)... next I can see them taking a pass rusher or a defensive lineman if they are not impressed with Dez Bryant (which I think they are not at all). Safety is just meh. BUT I can see them trading up and getting back in the first round to get a Brandon Graham or Hughes. So maybe you're right.

Sorry I screwed that up. I meant would when I asked the question.

Peronally I think Seattle will go QB. Hasselbeck is washed up and the lost Seneca to us.

I think KC is going to take him unfortunately. Might not cost too much to trade with them though, since we are only two spots behind them.

DL? Sure. But McCoy and Suh won't be there, so there goes that. Bradford won't be there, and like you said, its probably impossible to make a play for him. Claustrich sucks, and in this case will (!!!) be gone. So, you're down to Pass Rusher vs. Eric Berry.

I'm not impressed with Derrick Morgan or JPP at all. So, who do you want, Vernon Gholston, or Ed Reed?
