This whole Manning injury thing will be an interesting test case for exactly how important a good QB is to a team. When Brady went down a few years ago the Pats didn't miss a beat, but they had a really good backup. Not exactly the case in Indy.

If Manning is out for the season, which is how it appears now, exactly how bad is Indy? 8-8? 6-10? Worse?

Wouldn't it be something if Indy is so bad they get the #1 pick next year and draft Luck. That would be some serious luck to land what might be the best QB draft prospect since Peyton.
