The St. Louis Rams have cut linebacker Zac Diles and offensive tackle Renardo Foster, according to agent Brian Ayrault. Diles is a former Houston Texans starter who signed with the Rams this year following the NFL lockout. The 6-foot-2, 245-pounder has started 30 career games and has recorded 223 tackles and three forced fumbles. Diles, 26, played collegiately at Kansas State and was a seventh-round draft pick with the Texans. Diles had 82 tackles last season in Houston, starting 10 of 16 games. EDIT: Diles is 6'2" and 245. Wow... from 82 tackles to cut? Maybe he's dinged? |

A DE and a WR cut by the Titans: Justin Gage and Jacob Ford cut in Tennessee Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on September 3, 2011, 1:07 PM EDT We’re trying to limit our posts on Saturday to cuts made in bulk or notable names, because we know you guys don’t want to read a separate post for every player cut throughout the day. This post would qualify under the “notable name” department. Both defensive end Jacob Ford and wide receiver Justin Gage have played key roles for the Titans the last few years, often as starters. On Saturday, the Tennessean reports that they were both let go. This is what happens when a new coaching staff arrives and changes schemes on both sides of the ball. Also cut for Tennessee: defensive end Pannel Eggboh and cornerback Frank Walker. |

no thanks to vasher, I don't want a guy who couldn't beat out E. Wright or B.Mac :| Ross Homan though, I'd totally take him over Brian Smith. |

| NFL Events: Combine Player Profiles - Ross Homan Sixth round pick. I saw him projected for the 4th a lot and remember naming him as a WSLB we could get in 4 or 5. We could sure use the depth and he fits the young/cheap profile. |
