You're kidding on the blitzing thing, right? We sent 5 or more a ton of times. Unfortunately, the blitzers never got within sniffing distance of the QB. If anyone has the game DVRed, once your stomach stops heaving, go back and watch how much time the Bengals generally got to throw the ball. The sack by DQJ was a 6 man blitz and it still was a "coverage" sack. Pathetic.

As a general matter DQJ should blitz on every play cause he sucks eggs at coverage. The TD and several third down conversions were on him.

No, I'm not kidding.

We saw quite a bit more blitzing last year. Many people pointed out that we weren't blitzing (whether at all or as much is a matter of interpretation, I guess).

DQJ seemed to make quite a few good plays and stops. As did Haden.

I do wonder why we didn't hear more about Rubin and Taylor....God knows Shaun Rogers (if healthy) would have been right in that O's faces.

Let's just say I'm not pleased with this Dick Jauron defense.

Good. Well not good because losing sucks and I want us to be a winning team but good in a sense it puts Piggly Wiggly up in the Presidential chair and his band of merry failures on that hot seat. I hold out hope Randy Lerner being around the team more than ever before realizes he is being taken for a ride right now and handles his business before this team is set back another decade.
