McCoy wasn't very good overall. He had one really good quarter, basically (the 2nd). He had three good throws -- two TDs and the terrific roll out for the 56 yard completion to Massoquoi (apparently the only WR on the team).

The fact that 21 of his throws were targeted at TEs or RBs says a lot... especially when you realize he was only 19 of 40. He missed quite a few intermediate throws and was really bad from that bomb through the end of the game, which was a little embarrassing.

I'm very pro Colt... but it wasn't a good game for him. Yes, it's tough when your WRs don't get open and they keep trotting #80 back onto the field. I get that. But he played a role, too. Overall, he was not sharp.

Well said, Coach's and systems are over rated talent wins games. We went from one of the oldest teams to the youngest. Weather people want to believe it or not we are an expansion team again with a few blue chippers mixed in. I have never liked changing coaches every couple of years when talent is lacking in so many places.

What I liked about EM his team had an identity tough running team, few penalties, Rob Ryan's defense is more fun to watch especially in Dallas. Good special teams.

The strength of our offence was our running game. With not addressing right tackle, getting rid of Vickers, losing Stienbach, Lavono's first year starting. Our running will take a step backwards for now. I think Colt we be a fine QB but one that will need some help with a some sort of running game and WR play. Can't always rely on TE's and RB to catch passes.

Our Defense will be as good as the line plays two rookies and backup don't give me much confidence especially if they both hit the "rookie wall" the last month with those division games.

At least we have an easy schedule and a coach who lets the younger players play.(total opposite of EM) Hopefully Shurmur can coach'em up before it looks like Progressive Field down there.

Colt's protection sucked last sunday.. He was not great..but when you have no pocket.. much of his struggles were due to the OL also.. If you only have 1.5 seconds to drop back before your hit or being run out of the pocket.. your recievers are not even into the pattern so you cannot blame the recievers either for that either. The OL owns much of that mess last week.

I liked that EM established an identity and his team was low on penalties (one game does not make a season, so we'll see how bad the Browns are on penalties for the year). That was one of the good things he did do.

Rob Ryens D might be fun to watch, but fun doesn't equal good or that it will keep your getting torched bad. Keeping you in a game only to cost you a game isnt' good to me. His D for DAL got torched by Mark freakin' Sanchez. With all that more talent the Jets did the same thing to Rob's DAL D that it did last year to his CLE D.

All those things will likely hurt CLEs running game. They should have kept Vickers and that's a mistake by the front office. Those line issues worry me far more in the passing game than the running game. Injuries happen and it's next man up.

No such thing as an easy schedule in the NFL. Every team plays tough and everyone bases the "easy schedule" notion based on what teams did the year before. Every year teams that were to be good end up bad, and teams that were to be bad end up good (at least record wise).

I think the D is going to be better than last years in some areas and worse in others.
