Default When will hardesty stop running scared?

Is it just me or is MoHard still running like he is afraid of getting hurt again? He needs more playing time to get over this fear.

I think it's just you, he averaged 4.8 yards a carry, and when he had blocking from his line he hit the hole hard with authority. I think you need to watch the game again and you'll see that he played just fine. He didn't even get 20 carries the whole game and there was one run where he breaks a tackle, he's taking it 50+ yards for a TD... He could have had a monster game.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.

I think Hardesty just had to get over that fear of the uncertainty with his knee. From prior experience with an ACL tear, even when it's fully rehabbed, that thought of "How much can I really do with my knee?" is in the back of your mind. But once you test it and see that it's good to go then those thoughts go away. I think he just had to realize that.

never having had an ACL tear, I wouldn't know for sure...but I think you're right.

He's getting more comfortable in his abilities now and we will see more and better.

I'm not sure I have seen Hards running scared one bit, don't know where that came from.

He is not going to be all he can be until next year, which is a badass who has all the facets of a great back. Of course, this is assuming he stays healthy. ACL reconstructs generally take two years before a player is all he can be. Guys come back much quicker from the surgeries now, but they generally aren't 100% until the following season.

Hards is very explosive and has cutting ability out the ying yang. He also has a nice gathering of spin moves and can run with power and speed. His hands may not be quite as good as Hillis', but he also may be a better route runner and someone you can line up outside a little more.

Reminds me of Terrell Davis: Great cutback runner. I like him a ton.

Agrees with the posts above. Hards will be fine....his explosion isnt all the way back...having broken/shattered My leg I'll atest to what Riffah said...Initially you take 6-10 weeks healing but, the recovery is far longer.

Very happy with picking him now. It looks like we may get more than anyone thought out of him if he can recover fully and continue to develop and contribute.

Loved watching him on the field yesterday. Sucks we didn't have Hillis (and for my fantasy team) but MoHard played VERY good.

Gotta think Pashos returns... and one thing he can do is run block. If I'm the Titans, I'm looking at what Hardesty did... looking at Pashos and Hillis returning... and I'm thinking it's gonna get physical, physical...

I did not see hesitency from Hardesty. Lookws likw he ran hard and also broke some tackles. If he was scared, he wouldl have gone down on the first hit. I did not see that. I would have like to see him and the other back get more touches. But he looked good. I now have confidence in him if Hillis gets hurt that I did not have before.
