I'm honestly not upset, no. It is what it is and it's going to be what it's going to be each week. I'll cheer 'em on and hope they win but if they don't i'm not going to get all upset about it anymore for awhile unless we look like absolute shit. We didn't so i'm not.

It feels like we know we're not sitting on a lot of talent and losing is expected as long as we don't stink up the joint toooo bad. I do feel like there was no spark to the offense though.

I was never upset during this game, I just knew this team wouldn't go to 3-1 it would be too surreal. I probably would have been ballistic if we pissed a game away we should have won, but that wasn't the case. Sometimes a good ass kicking isn't a bad thing, because a loss is a loss---ask Mangini.

I think alot of it is the NFL in general right now. You're either on fire right now or you're not and we're one of the teams that aren't on fire. We're one of the very few teams in the middle of that road right now, it could go either way at this point and I think we all knew deep down this was a lost season irregardless. We're not a Superbowl contender yet and the best hope was a wildcard spot. For me and i'm sure others i'm just going to treat this like a 16(well 12 now) game audition and preseason for next year. Hopefully we will look pretty respectable and hopefully we will have some questions answered by seasons end, namely what do we have to do to seriously compete next year and longterm. |

I am disappointed, but not upset and not surprised at all. I didn't let those two wins against shitty miami and indy teams delude me into thinking that we were a good team. But yes.... I am disappointed we looked even more pathetic than I imagined.

It's about what I expected. I thought we might keep it closer. Bad tackling, bad tackling, bad tackling acounted for more than 1 of Tenesee's scores. We did pretty well against the run as that was our focus..but we can see that we have a way to go on both sides of the ball. This is a work in progress. I never expected us to win more than 6 games this year.. that's still very managable.. I know we will look better as the season goes on if we stay healthy.. This whole season is really our training camp.. This has been said before.. We are evaluating talent. Guys are learning new systems. I do notice Bradford in St. Louis is doing terribly without Shurmer.. I like this offense.. With better blocking and more talent at WR..this can be a very good offense.. Our defense has some rising stars.. We make a couple more additions..this will be an outstanding defense and it's young..

Exactly, what's funny is I am less upset after this game than I was after the Cincy game because we should have beat Cincy, We're just not as good as the Titans yet. My concerns about the defense came true. A veteran QB took advantage of their miscues more than any of the other QBs we have faced ever could have. Jaurons "bend but don't break" got snapped like a twig. At that point, with the WRs we have and the Oline issues we have, we're not just built yet to compete in a game like that. It doesn't mean we should "suck for Luck", it doesn't mean we need to fire coaches. It means we hope the whole team learns from a game like this and continues to put in the work required both individually and as a team to continue to get better. Panicking and thinking about drafting a QB in the first round next year already is the worse thing any player, coach, gm or fan should be worrying about at this point in the season. Seeing how the team reacts to this game will be important to see. Seeing how they improve from week 1 to week 16 is important. But also some fans on here needed this reality check also. This team is what it is. likely a 6 win team this season. It's how they look by the end of this season that's important. Not the final record, and NO ONE or TWO players drafted next year is going to make a large enough impact if the current players and coaches on this team don't continue to develop a system to stick to.
