I have no idea whatsoever is happening with these old threads. None at all. |

*clears throat* Daboll was PART of the problem. Injuries... another key element. We had probably 6 quarters of 1-legged quarterbacking from Jake Delhomme too many and injuries across the board. I think they deserve a chunk of the blame too. Mr. Daboll made some REALLY head scratching kinds of plays, ESPECIALLY on 3rd down where you NEED to move the chains. We would have Hillis taking the ball on 3rd and long and running for 4 or 5 yards when we needed 8 or 9. We would try these trick plays at random moments which they were uncalled for, essentially waisting a down. Now lets not forget to harp on Mangini for his porous clock managment skills as well... Last year went the way it did for a multitude of reasons and no single scapegoat deserves the blame when the TEAM lost as a TEAM.
__________________ BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall. We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results. Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them. I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year. It's going to be tough. We aren't Barking Hard for nothing. WOOF WOOF WOOF! ![]() |
