Actually... never mind. I get the underlying point. The crimes of Wall Street and the exploding distance between ordinary people and the lush life, loopholes, and government-endorsed extortion by the extreme rich and corporations isn't the problem. It's teachers, unions, gay people, and the looming threat of, uh... Marxism?

Keeping serving your overlords faithfully. They've shown how they reward you... but I'm sure it was Obama's fault, not craven thievery of retirement plans through derivatives. And it's cool that big corporations cut worker pensions while ballooning executive pensions. Or that nobody involved in The Crash has been brought to trial.

Yeah... I'm sure it's just "class warfare." Like when Reagan tried to eliminate tax loopholes to the wealthy because that rate may look high but they just ain't actually paying... kind of like GE. Was it Class Warfare then, too? Was Reagan a Marxist? I just watched that speech, BTW... he and Obama say almost exactly the same things on that topic. So it really isn't about philosophies... it's about which gang you're in.

Kind of like Obama and Romney on healthcare, but I know I'm talking to a wall. Fear Marxism! It's a real danger! One party is great, the other is bad! (My point: Democrats didn't do anything about it either. Nobody can because it's so damn big.)

So you guys are seriously worried that "white males" are in peril? Is this like the War on Christmas again?

By the way, the biggest threat to "white males" is women, not, uh... Marxism (c'mon, it's funny). They're killing us the old fashioned way, by getting educated. They earn 67% of graduate degrees and women in their 20s now outearn men in their 20s. 62% of women in marriages where both parties have at least a bachelor's degree are more educated than their husbands.

I recommend working on the abs and body waxing, because the future will look like Mad Women 2092.

Yeah, it's fair.

From my perspective there are A LOT of reasons to give McCoy somewhat of a pass, but the folks who suggest we should give up on him keep saying we're making excuses.

He is regressing...and I am concerned he is getting into some bad habits. Someone needs to ensure that those things do not become problems in the future. That falls squarely on the coaches.

But as many people have pointed out, this TEAM is YOUNG! They have not "gelled" yet which is disappointing but it is what it is.

Insanity is defined as keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, right?

So let's just keep throwing young QB's into the mix every year and keep thinking they're going to resolve all the problems. It's not going to happen - we have A LOT of problems that one more rookie QB is not going to fix.

It wasn't the sterling 13 points that Alex Smith put up against Cincy, but figure in the two blocked FG's makes it 12. They were good enough to control the ball over 42 minutes and Colt made some outstanding first down runs. I will take the W myself, but I realize there are going to be some that are pissed with the win. I know, it is hard.

It is certainly better than the 6-3 debacle vs Buffalo a couple of years ago. At least Colt wasn't DAish 2 for 17 passing today but even I was getting pissed at the constant 5 yard passes.
