Way to avoid the questions I asked that would make you actually think about your own actions. your right, I accept my culpability in it. You don't. and that right there is THE PROBLEM. So long Shep, I hope you find a place to debate browns football that can handle you.

See I think I am understanding all of this a bit better these days. BW/Shep is frustrated as we all can be and are at times. Shep likes to voice his frustrations, like many of us. He voices it in many threads and yes, it gets frustrating. So I been brainstorming on Vicodins and I came up with something. It isn't a segregation of the boards or any of that but how about a subforum or thread of sorts geared strictly towards ranting ones frustrations and getting it out? By that I don't mean "so we can all bitch about each other." What I mean is if Shep is frustrated about the Offense or McCoy or whatever he can hit that area and VENT it, get it all out there. If i'm frustrated with something, cause i'm as guilty of it as anyone else I can go into said thread or subforum and vent until i've gotten it all out. We don't bitch about one another or go at it with one another, if you don't like what someones venting about either ignore it or find your OWN issue to vent about. We actually wouldn't be the first nor only forum to do that. Many Sports forums have similar stuff and in fact some even close up the various forums during and for several hours AFTER games due to things like what we're bitching about because it's frankly pretty common. Some fans get inebriated, they get overly emotional and they say things they don't fully mean. Like I said i'm just as guilty of that as anyone. Let's not forget half of LAST season when I was sharpening the blade and it was "off with Mangini's head!" Until a few hours later and I was back to dangling off his balls and kissing his ring while bowing. In the BW case it's kinda a pattern, Browns have frustrating games, McCoy plays as he has played for the last 11 games, Shep gets emotional for awhile and says draft a QB, Shep calms down a bit and says no, you're right, he gets the rest of the season still but the damage is done, people are annoyed and the war is back on. Hey i'll admit I get frustrated to and for the last several days have been trying to use some humor to hopefully get everyone cooled down. Including myself as I started taking small digs at Shep last week and I don't want to do that. I don't want any of us to do that. Maybe my idea is workable, maybe it's a pipe dream. As it is right now we're all getting emotional, Shep is ready to leave again and half the board is pissed off and there's gotta be some way we can move past all of this without members leaving and the board splitting into faction wars. |

God, I remember when I would write paragraph after paragraph getting into back n' forth's with various members over the years. How the fuck do you guys have time for this shit anymore? Life is short, when you get to heaven, do you really want God to do a roll call of call of duty like stats, and time spent arguing on a message board is tallied up in years? Whoa, explain that one to the big Fella....
