It isn't about his maturity or "getting it" (Ponder's gettin' it just fine, right now, much like Dalton). It's that he totally lacks anything close to high end passing talent.
It doesn't mean I wish him poorly in his life or that you should take it personally, or as an excuse to get mean or lob personal attacks. That doesn't actually make any sense. I'm saying the guy we have at QB isn't good enough and I don't think he ever will be.
If he does find that phone booth and comes out with an NFL arm? I'll love him like family at that point. It ain't personal. |
Oh man, now I see why Veg loses it with you. There wasn't anything personal or me crying about Colt, I just want this to be your official day to say you are done with Colt for good. You just said he would never be a good QB, did you not? Okay, good, we are on the same page then. Now everybody knows where you stand officially, and you will gladly admit you are wrong if Colt ends up a good one as he matures.
There, that wasn't "mean" see, we just want to make your stance official going forward. I'm not sure you're aware of this, but you tend to kinda backtrack and say you never said this or actually meant this etc., so this just gives you the future braggin rights that you called it. The best part is, you won't feel compelled to have to tell everybody about it over and over and over and over and over and over, we already know.
Perhaps I should start a thread making it official? What would the title be? How about Shep's Done With McCoy Thread. You can go apeshit in there responding to yourself over and over finding different ways to tell us you know QB;s, and Colt sure ain't it. I'm down, how about you?
