I don't care who Holmgren or Shurmur talk to, I like the attitude of Tom Heckert.

This needs to be Heckert's team, not Holmgren's, and I assume that is the plan.

Tom is HONEST and OPEN. Love it.

Listen to this guy talk, and then tell me what there is to learn about this roster. Tom is very straight forward about the roster (he obviously loves all 53) but he does defend himself specifically why this guy or that guy was signed, or why we didn't sign guys in FA.

I like this guy and how he thinks. You can talk all day about MH and PS, but TH will tell you straight out his thoughts.

I like listening to Holmgren, but Heckert is the dude I want to listen to specifically because he is telling us why and who and what is going to get us where we need to go.

Listen to it - he is honest.

So you're saying he's honest?

I like both Holmgren and Heckert as leaders of the organization. they aren't going to be right with every decision, it's the nature of the game. But I think they have and plan and it's a good one.

Don't know how long it will take but I think they get the job done. This team is in the best positon that it has been in since 1999.

They should get it done unless the team plane crashes en route to Pitt. What is funny is so many fans say they are doing it the right way, and they they go apeshit and want to sign some dbag guy like MSW for the third time in one season.

For all the little mikey p ass clowns out there, if this pans out, they will be acting like they had the script the whole time.

I posted this in another thread, but I think it goes here too.
Adam schefter tweeted yesterday that the top 4 Defenses in the NFL are all in the AFC North

Clearly Defense has been Heckert's focus and hes turned us from ranking 28-32 to top 4 in just 2 years. (Granted, we havent played Pitt, NE, etc..) Hopefully he can deliver the same kind of turnaround on offense.

I read another article a couple of days ago that pointed out while the AFC North has the 4 highest defenses in the NFL, they also have the advantage this year of playing the 2 worst divisions - NFC West and AFC South. A case where stats might be a little deceiving, but no doubt the defense is much improved.

The AFC North also has all the their teams at .500 or better (thanks again in part from the easier schedule.)

The AFC North: Where we dominate mediocrity.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.
