and how well is miami doing this year again? stop using stats if you think theyre lies....

look....continue thinking its all on the WRs if you want. i just happen to believe theyre part of the problem, not the source of it.

I'm with Choco, WR is only part of the problem. Right now we've got the O-line depth and HB depth torn to shreds right now but nope, lets throw it all on Colt McCoy's and Patty Shurm's shoulders while disregarding our complete abortion of a WR corps (some of us overemphasize the importance of WR's....) but I think right now it's a nasty coctail of ineptitude and injury that's got the Browns offense where they are.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.

EE, I'd be with you but for the flashpoint moment for me from last week which was Josh Cribbs stepping in to do the missing job of OC: seeing a gap in the defense and calling his own play.

Again, how does Shurmur and company NOT see what Cribbs had been seeing all game?

Its legitimate to question what Shurmur's doing with this team.

I wonder if that same kinda thing happened again this week. It just seems too coincidental that a pass play to Cribbs was the ONLY TD we scored. Sometimes it's hard to watch a stream.

I have been Grey, look around the forum. I would argue I have been one of Shurmur's louder critics on this forum. Its like I said in another thread, why AREN'T we letting Cribbs do more of "hey, they are missing me on this route, get me the ball." When it's working. Cribbs is easily the closest thing we have to a "money" reciever. Anyone who's actually WATCHED the team this season and doesn't think Cribbs is our best WR is smoking some strong shit and I want in on that!

I agree Grey, how is Shurmur NOT seeing what the players and fans are seeing and more importantly, WHAT is Shurmur focusing on. You ask me, there's no single element of the offense that shows focus and practice, that says "THIS is where we're trying to be strongest."
