| Browns signed RB Thomas Clayton. With Peyton Hillis (hamstring) questionable and Montario Hardesty (calf) out, the Browns needed some insurance. Clayton, a 2007 sixth-round pick of the 49ers, spent time with the Browns during last season but managed just one carry in two appearances. He's been out of the league since getting cut by the Seahawks prior to Week 1. There's no upside here, even if Hillis sits. In that case, Chris Ogbonnaya would be a better bet for carries against the Texans. Yeah but there's a right way and a wrong way to express your desire to be more involved. If you come at it like "me me me me" and you're not doing all the little things right to get that playing time then that's the beginning of a cancer and needs to be purged post haste.

Thank you spec, a player putting himself in front of the team. I don't recall Davis ever pulling anything like that in Cleveland but other than a few good pre-season games he never really did much on the field. IMO. Joker you DO want players that want to play but football is a team game, if you're out for yourself well... ask Terrell Owens how well that's working out for him, or Ochocinco...
__________________ BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall. We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results. Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them. I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year. It's going to be tough. We aren't Barking Hard for nothing. WOOF WOOF WOOF! ![]() |

For the record, james davis was cut because he was scared shitless playing against the ravens. He would have never stayed healthy for two straight games with even a Mccluster type load. Bad pick, not an afc north back but it was only a 6th. I remember the wood being purveyed at the time though, and I had some movement myself. Btw I suck buffalo dick trying to post from my phone while drinking......just for the record
