Default Browns release Robiskie

Browns have release/waived Robo to make room for the RB they signed.

Norwood's play on Sunday probably sealed it for Robo. Norwood made more plays than Robo did all year which isn't saying much.

I Was definitely wrong on this one. I over estimated Robos worth as a route runner and example of how to work hard. Good luck Brian.

I guess it was sooner or later. Really disappointed, though. He was such a good receiver for the Buckeyes I thought he'd make an easy transition to the pro level. Hope he catches on with another club. Good Luck Robo

I think Robo has a role in the league with the right situation. Here, playmakers are needed big time and guys with upside are the rule.

Robo was a flyer from the start and I think we knew it. There just isn't any room for a guy without any top end attributes for his position. Robo had decent size. Robo had decent quickness. Robo ran good routes. Robo had good hands. Robo wasn't explosive either in small or large spaces.

Just a textbook example of the elite level of athleticism required to play NFL football. Here's a kid who was really really good for a top D1 school who can't stay on the NFL field.

Classy guy from a classy family. I wish him well.

I've never hated on Robo, thought he would be a decent WR in the pros but it just hasn't worked out here.

One memory of him that I will never get out of my head was in the BCS championship game vs LSU - he dropped a TD in the endzone that would have brought the Bucks back to within a TD midway thru the 2nd quarter. The Bucks tried a FG on the next play, it was blocked and returned for a TD to make it a 3TD lead, and the rout was on...I don't blame him for that loss but he sure didn't help matters with that game changing play. Catch the damn ball! That's what the Buckeyes paid you for!!!

Really?!
Mangini drafted him, I don't see how this was a Heckert miss.
