And I agree on your every element assertion. That's what makes the Colt thing so damn disappointing.

Wouldn't it have been nice to see him succeed or fail clearly? Instead we're stuck with this abortion of an entire offense that makes evaluating the QB a real oddyessy.

For our occasional pissing matches, I think we feel roughly the same about it. I bitched all preseason that we weren't doing just a couple fairly simple things -- more at WR and at RT, primarily -- to have a clear sense that what you see is what you'll be getting from McCoy.

But I guess it cuts both ways, or all three. The line might look better, like when Anderson came in for Frye. The WRs? I don't think so. I can blame incessant blitzes for rattling the young guards, but not getting separation for a quarterback who seems nervous about small windows... it's definitely a collaborative effort there.
