So, some quick stats for the game show the "weak" area being the RB's (no surprise there, really). But our passing game did better than Houstons! Of course, you wouldn't know that by the score. And why pass when you can run????

Glad we had a balanced attack! 21 rushes and 22 passes, who needs an OC?

It'll stay ranked high if teams don't have to pass against us.

But wait...I thought this was a passing league?

Next week I think we should try 22 rushes and 21 passes, what do you think?

Just looked at Schaub's numbers after reading Golfer's post...Schaub had deceptively bad numbers and only a 56 QB rating today but he had all day to pass and suffered from a few drops including the one DQJ intercepted after it bounced out of his receiver's hands.

Only if we are down by three touchdowns again early in the game that way we can keep trying to establish the run with our 4th and 5th string RBs while the other team continues to run up the score.

Schaub had all day to throw most of the time.. to wide open recievers.. We did chase him around a bit and he threw a few of balls away.. That's the main reason his numbers were bad. We got occasional pressure..just didn't get home. Texans have it all..power run game and a strong passing game.. Wait til they get Andre Johnson back.

I guarantee you Shurmur talks in his press conference about how Obiwan did "pretty well".........

Mike Adams made one hell of a play to separate man from ball on that INT. It wasn't a drop.

Greythan..Nice call. You could see that hit coming as soon as the ball was out of the QB's hands. I knew there was no way it would be a catch. A big impact was coming. D'Qwell caught a very generous bounce.. But a great defensive play.. One of very few that were really good.

DEFINITELY deceptive: Houston quit throwing because they got ahead early. Cleveland was way behind and still not attacking downfield. They were down 24 and running up the middle or dumping off.

Not a pretty sight. Felt kind of like a surrender to me. Not sure I've seen a more hapless offense, even in Cleveland where it's become our tradition.

It seems like McCoy has had, on and off, better numbers than his opposing QB's (the Miami and Tennesee games scream as aberrations to this immediately) and of course I'm probably wrong about that. But how telling is this of our Pass D? Shep would have you believe the numbers are deceptive and in a way he's right but why do you need to pass the ball when you have two RB's running it for over 100 yards each. When your team's getting over 200 yards of offense from the running game. Cleveland barely got 40 yards... it's pathetic!

Its the fact that Shauab had all this time to make plays yet we held him to barely over 100 yards passing and they got no Passing TD's... the Pass D gets another passing grade for this game. One of the only bright spots of this team.

BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall.
We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.
WOOF WOOF WOOF!
