My analysis of playoff winners seems to correlate to individual games being won by one of the following: hot passing game, lots of takeaways, or just stingy scoring defense. Pretty obvious stuff but it seems to be the secret sauce.

My neck's bugging the shit out of me and I have to get out of this seat... but a couple weeks ago, I was amazed at how bad the top teams like GB and NE were on scoring defense... and defense in general.

This is a whacky year for making sense of stats. Even I won't draw too many conclusions... except the top teams have the top QBR passers.

Regardless of who the team takes, he needs to be the best player available at that point. You can't set your eyes on a certain guy and thats why I think mock drafts are a joke, especially before th combines and pro days.
This team doesn't draft well. And when you don't draft well, your team is lousy. And when your team is lousy, free agents don't want to play there, unless it is their only offer. Would you want to spend your winters in Cleveland playing football?
