No actually I bitched about hiring a guy that is nowhere near prepared for the Head Coach position, there is a very big difference that i'll let you try to figure out. Not that what you said makes any sense to begin with, framed as if the only choices are a first time HC or a guy who has been fired from multiple teams already after years of mediocrity. |

I don't want Andy Reid to come here, but I see the connections with Holmgren and Heckert. He would be a better option than Shurmur the heart murmur, but I just don't like this whole west coast bullshit anyhow. I guess if we had to choose between Shurmur and Reid, I would choose Reid, but I am all for getting a coach that is NOT a west coast style coach.

| Last I heard he wasn't making excuses. Irregardless what was their record last season, again? 2-14? So he's equaled their wins from last season 10 games in and will likely exceed it, WITH a glorified RB pretending to be a franchise QB who has cost them several games already. Even still his teams have played hard each week and are no doubt improved from last season, in his FIRST season after inheriting a day one rebuild job. I guess this is where you bite your thumbnail then return to the drawing board. I am under the assumption you will somehow attempt to spin your buddy Shurmur as being in the same boat even though he's had the benefit of coming onto the team in year two of Fatboy's rebuild project and has actually made this team far worse. |

I would definitly not be happy with Reid as the HC. I would however not mind at all if he come here as the OC. We need an experianced OC. And he helped far less QB's then Colt overachieve (AJ Feeley anyone??) I always thought Donovan McNabb was grossly overrated ..yet Reid always got the best out of him (McNabb is a debate for another time and place though) I doubt he would come here as an OC though. The more interesting debate right now would be who will be out future OC. |
